Exodus in Biblical Prolepsis, Etiology and Eschatology Paper

Michael Buban, the author of this essay writes in his conclusion:

Exodus is not to be viewed as a static brick, but as an organic material, which the biblical writer integrated as an amplification of their messages. Such an approach does not prevent classical interpretation of the exodus as mentioned above. It would rather open a possibility of a careful and nuanced approach, which will do justice to the delicate relations between various components of the OT theology.

While not agreeing with everything in this essay, the essay can really widen your view on the Old Testament narrative through the many allusions the author sees between other parts of the Old Testament and the Exodus narrative.
