What Flesh did Jesus Come In?

‘I have spoke to many lately (Mostly Calvinists but some who are truly against Calvinism) deny that Christ came in the flesh that we have. They say he came in the pre-fall flesh or a different flesh. Which both are unscriptural and really both deny the doctrine that Christ came in the flesh.

“Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: and every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.”
- 1 John 4:2-3

This is a serious matter – eternal life is at stake.

I will now prove by the scripture that Jesus came in the exact same flesh we have now, and by the way since Jesus mastered it that means so can we, as we should follow his example.

The Bible teaches that Christ was a real man like all other men, born with the same human nature as all other men and a true descendant of Adam, Abraham, and David:

“The book of the generation of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham.”
- Matthew 1:1
″Which was the son of Enos, which was the son of Seth, which was the son of Adam, which was the son of God.”
- Luke 3:38
“Concerning his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, which was made of the seed of David according to the flesh.”
- Romans 1:3
“God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law.”
- Galatians 4:4
“What is man, that thou art mindful of him? or the son of man, that thou visitest him? Thou madest him a little lower than the angels…But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels.”
- Hebrews 2:6-7, 9
“For both he that sanctifieth and they who are sanctified are all of one: for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brethren.”
- Hebrews 2:11
“Forasmuch as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil.”
- Hebrews 2:14
“For verily he took not on him the nature of angels; but he took on him the seed of Abraham.”
- Hebrews 2:16
“Wherefore in all things it behooved him to be made like unto his brethren.”
- Hebrews 2:17
“For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feelings of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.”
- Hebrews 4:15
“And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us.”
- John 1:14
“Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: and every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.”
- 1 John 4:2-3
″Many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist. Look to yourselves, that we lose not those things which we have wrought, but that we receive a full reward. Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son. If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed: for he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.”
- 2 John 7-11

Please take this seriously.’
