‘ “And these signs shall follow them that believe: . . . they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.” Mark 16:17, 18. “Is any sick among you? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up.” James 5:14, 15. “God hath set in the church . . . gifts of healings.” 1 Cor. 12:28. Laying hands on the sick by believers and anointing with oil by the elders are two ways through which the gifts of healings operate. God hath set these gifts in the church. What God hath set, let not man upset!’
