‘These are the days when “The eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped. Then shall the lame man leap as an hart, and the tongue of the dumb sing: for in the wilderness shall waters break out, and streams in the desert.” “And the inhabitant shall not say, I am sick.” Isa. 35:5, 6; 33:24. “The earth shall be full of the knowledge of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea.” Isa. 11:9. “For from the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same, my name shall be great among the Gentiles; and in every place incense shall be offered unto my name, and a pure offering: for my name shall be great among the heathen, saith the Lord of hosts.” Mal. 1:11. “He shall have dominion also from sea to sea, and from the river unto the ends of the earth.” Psalm 72:8. “And they shall teach no more every man his neighbor, and every man his brother, saying, Know the lord: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the Lord.” Jer. 31:34. This will be the grand climax if the work of the Holy Spirit. To pervade the e arth with His presence, to teach men to glorify the Lord, to drive out all sickness, to deliver the groaning creation itself, and to bring all things into subjection to Christ – these are His great objectives, and the thousand years of peace will witness His complete attainment of these great ends.’
